Catalano's Easiest Beef Sirloin Tip Roast

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup minced onion
1 (3 pound) Catalano's Choice sirloin tip roast
1 1/4 cups water, divided
1 (8 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 envelope onion soup mix
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Fresh loaf of crusty bread
DIRECTIONS:
1 Place large piece of heavy-duty foil in a shallow roasting pan.
2 Place roast on foil.
3 Pour 1 cup water and mushrooms over roast.
4 Sprinkle with soup mix.
5 Wrap foil around roast; seal tightly.
6 Bake at 350 degrees F for 2-1/2 to 3 hours or until meat reaches desired doneness
7 Remove roast to a serving platter and keep warm.
8 Pour drippings and mushrooms into a saucepan.
9 Combine cornstarch and remaining water until smooth; gradually stir into drippings.
10 Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
11 Serve with slice beef and fresh crusty bread.
